Out on 3 July 2026, Legends Reborn brings together eleven iconic voices — all of them gone too soon — each one reimagined singing a tribute to another artist who shaped the cultural landscape and left it changed forever. Amy Winehouse singing about Marilyn Monroe. Michael Jackson about Amy. Freddie Mercury about Kurt Cobain. Nina Simone about Billie Holiday. Marvin Gaye about Sam Cooke.

We've built a full visual album to run alongside the music — eleven painterly portraits where each pairing (Amy Winehouse for Marilyn Monroe, Bob Dylan for Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury for Kurt Cobain, and the other eight) is rendered in a single morphing image. The Concept

The idea is simple and boundless at the same time.

Every great artist carries the influence of those who came before them. We hear it in the phrasing, in the chord choices, in the attitude they bring to a stage. But the artists themselves rarely got to say it out loud — rarely got to turn to their heroes and say: you changed everything for me, and here is what I need you to know.

Legends Reborn gives them that moment.

Each track is crafted in the unmistakable voice and style of its artist — not an impression, but a genuine inhabitation of tone, vocabulary, and emotional register. The Bob Dylan track sounds like Bob Dylan. The Whitney Houston track sounds like Whitney. The Freddie Mercury track sounds like Freddie — right down to the theatrical grace beneath every word.

What they are singing about, though, is entirely new.

From the very beginning of Skeleton House Collective, we have been drawn to music that carries weight — music that is about something, that sits in the space between the notes and asks something of you.

House of Bones was about storytelling through sound. The chillout releases were about surrender and space. Legends Reborn is about legacy — about the artists who built the rooms we all work in, and the conversations they never got to finish.

Every release we make is connected to that thread. This one just happens to be the most direct thing we have ever put into the world.
