The Bones of Love — six tracks of modern pop, out Friday 10 July on every major platform.
What it is
A concept album. The story of Harris — the friend who walked us into the room, the man who built the warmth of the Skeleton House just by being in it — told across six songs that follow a single arc from welcome to goodbye.
It's the most personal record we've ever made.
The tracks, in narrative order:
- Holy Ground — the night Harris walked us in. Gospel-warm, choir-driven, the welcome song
- Changes — the slow turn. The transformation of being seen by your people
- Lose You to Love You — the bones of love. A hard night, a kind stranger, a place that saves
- Peaches — sun-drenched, golden hour, Harris on the phone telling you to come down
- Anyone Seen Harris — the first crack. The night something changed
- Ghost — the love that stays after the leaving
The sound
If you've spent time inside the modern pop universe — Holy, Stay, Ghost, Lonely, Peaches — you'll recognise the lane. We wanted this album to feel like the music that's been quietly carrying grief in mainstream pop for the last few years: warm, vocal-led, glowing under the surface, with the kind of arrangements that hide their weight inside their hooks.
It's a deliberate departure from the dance-floor records we've spent the last year making. There are still drums and synths, still moments built for movement. But the centre of gravity is the voice and the story.
Why now
We've been sitting on this album for a long time. Some records you write quickly. Some records you write once. The Bones of Love took the long version.
It's also the first record we've made that names the Skeleton House directly. Every song references the venue — the room, the floor, the bar, the door. If you've ever wondered what the Skeleton House actually is in our world — the venue, the collective, the mythology, the why — this album is the answer.
